Learn to Appreciate and Look Fabulous in Vintage Clothing!

I'm not a vintage clothing collector nor am I the foremost expert in women's vintage fashion.

I'm your typical kind of girl who happens to like standing in front of racks and racks of vintage fashion, trying on costume jewelry from another era, feeling and curious about that 1950's circle dress, bakelite ring's and Hermes Kelly bag's history.

Lately I've been fascinated with vintage dresses and accessories looking for ways and means to incorporate them into my contemporary and "very now" clothes.

I wanted to have them all...but unfortunately, I can't.

But as I searched the internet for more information about the history of Christian Dior's Opera Coat and 1960s vintage fashion as well as creations of other designers of the past--Zandra Rhodes, Norell and Halston, I began to have a deeper understanding and appreciation for the different periods of fashion and how the styles of each era greatly influenced the style of today.

I read and read. Researched some more. Studied them. And the outcome is this website. A concise guide to everything Vintage. Filled with information for vintage newbies, about both men's and women's clothing and accessories ranging from vintage handbags, vintage costume jewelry and even vintage clothing patterns and labels, the site is also injected with color photos here and there.
